How many pictures will we receive?
Standard outdoor sessions will include 25 -30 high resolution, edited images. Bespoke packages are available based on your specific needs.
When is a maternity session done?
Maternity sessions are typically done between 28 and 34 weeks. We need that beautiful belly to be nice and round, but mama is not too uncomfortable yet. The exact timing will differ, but this time frame is a good general guideline.
If I'm expecting, how far in advance should I book a maternity or birth session?
I would suggest booking as early as possible. Even if you are newly pregnant. That way we can make sure your slot is secure, but flexible. Goodness knows you'll have enough on your plate to consider as your pregnancy progresses!
Do You Offer a payment plan?
Absolutely! Booking a professional portrait session or Birth Story is a significant investment for many of us, but it shouldn't be exclusive. Reach out to me to make an arrangement that suits your needs and personal circumstances.
How should we dress for our family session?
Don't stress about it! Family sessions are all done outdoors in various locations around Cape Town. Once we book your session and determine the location, I will send you a styling guide that you can use for ideas. It is important that everyone is comfortable with their wardrobe choices. Clothing should compliment your portraits and enhance the overall look without distracting from faces or expressions, which are the main focal point.
What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?
Newborn sessions are done in the comfort of your home. Ideally it is done within the first 14 days.
