The warmer days are making their way back to Cape Town, and I couldn't be happier to have beach maternity sessions back on the calendar!
I recently spent an afternoon at Sunset Beach with this gorgeous family, who are getting ready to welcome their third little baby. It was such a fun, relaxed session, full of laughter, spontaneous moments and plenty of beautiful memories in the making.
Mom and dad are just the sweetest together. You can see how much they adore each other, and this mama looked absolutely stunning. With the ocean in the background, the wind in our hair and the most beautiful soft evening light, everything just came together so naturally.
One of my favourite things about family and maternity photography is when everyone can simply relax and enjoy themselves. No stiff posing or worrying about getting everything just right. Just a family spending time together, having fun and celebrating this exciting new chapter. And this family made that incredibly easy.
Sunset Beach is one of those lovely Cape Town locations that makes outdoor maternity photography so beautiful. The wide stretches of sand, open skies and gorgeous coastal light give the photographs a natural, timeless feel. And as the weather starts warming up, we're heading into my favourite time of year for these beach sessions.
